In the food steps of the European\u2019s union engagement known as \u201c3&#215;20\u201d it sketches the states objectives in terms of fighting against climate changes and regulates environmental policies in various sectors such as industry, transportation and construction.<\/p>\n<p>The goals of the 3&#215;20 consist in sustainable development:<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Reducing of greenhouse gas emission by at least 20%<\/li>\n<li>Improving energy efficiency by at least 20%<\/li>\n<li>Having at least 20% of the energy consumption coming from renewable energy\u00a0 (France has decided to bring that up to 23% of its consumption)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>The construction sector, as opposed to others, has been a part of a professional endeavor with no precedent: \u201cle Plan B\u00e2timent Grenelle\u201d. As requested by Mr Borloo, secretary of the environment, Mr Pelletier, attorney at law and director of ANAH becomes president of the \u201cPlan B\u00e2timent Grenelle\u201d and sets up thematic think tanks \u201cLes chantiers du Plan B\u00e2timent Grenelle\u201d. Its main goal is to support the French government in the set up of the regulation.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cPlan B\u00e2timent Grenelle\u201d represents over 20 think tanks.<\/p>\n<p>Since july 2012, In\u00e8s Rienmann and Olivier Ortega head the 21st think tank \u201cInnovative financing of efficient energy use\u201d. One of the innovative ideas is the set up of third party investors.
